GANA HEZA are two interconnected projects (Green Agribusiness Network in Africa (GANA) and Healthy Environment Equal Zero-carbon Actions (HEZA). Healthy environment equal zero carbon actions have started in 2020 during the COVID pandemic focusing on environmental protection and agriculture businesses through zero-carbon actions such as modern composting and tree nurseries. Green agribusiness network in Africa has started in 2024 for the purpose of networking Africans at a Smart Technology Model Farm with modern technologies for green agribusinesses.
The founder of the projects is Mrs. KAMASHAZI Chantal who started the business after her master’s research won an excellent prize in producing a high quality organic fertilizer which can improve crop production and soil healthy. She won an excellent prize in South Korea awarded by Korean Society of Agriculture Engineers and after she came back to Rwanda to implement and expand her project for the benefits of the country. She is now a Multi Award Winner of agriculture and environmental innovations. She is also the managing director of Mind Valley Rwanda Ltd.
